So, we’ve pushed the button and finally launched, welcome to Striving.
Striving is our attempt to bring some real meaning to the concept of the social network. It’s a website designed to help you achieve what matters most in our personal lives – goals. No meaningless extra features or bloat, just the building of relevant connections and sharing of your current aspirations, and your progress along the way.
How does it work?
The idea behind Striving is to get people connected, by working together to achieve goals. By posting your goals and networking with others, you can start building connections, and receive helping hands from friendly folk within the community.
Finding those friendly folk shouldn’t be such a difficult process. Striving simplifies things.
The idea of adding keywords and skills to profiles and goals is what makes Striving so useful. Finding the people you need in life shouldn’t be such a struggle. Whether you want to start a band, find flatmates, organise a community meet-up, find a running partner, or even hire someone, just tag your goal with what/who you’re after, and you should start to get some responses.
On the flip side, if you’ve got skills that you can offer to the community, make sure you add them to your profile. We can then find you goals and people who could use your knowledge and talent.
